How To :: Be a Mixology Minx

+ master our Jack + Jill  signature summer sipper

A perfect balance of sweet + tart, just like me. Promised to smile charmingly on the tongue, then knock you on your ass. I've been told that these could practically be called a ‘roofitini', but I'm a classy lady and prefer to get my men liquored up the old fashioned way

with disguised amounts of liquor.

Shake

  • 1 can Minute Maid Lemonade or Limeade frozen concentrate
  • 8 ounces quality vodka  I use (shameless plug here) Chopin
  • Grenadine and superfine sugar for the rim

Steps

Prepare glasses  pour grenadine into a shallow saucer and sugar into another. Twirl the rim first in grenadine, then in sugar. Go easy now, otherwise it runs down the side of the glass and makes for a sticky mess.

And not the good kind.

  1. Shake (use a proper shaker ladies and gents) up Lemonade or Limeade in twice the concentration recommended on the back of the can (and by this I mean, + only half of the water called for on the concentrate's recipe)
  2. Add equivalent volume of vodka
  3. Add a few ice cubes
  4. Shake (the kind of shake that brings all the boys to the yard)
  5. Pour, drink, stumble.. repeat

Do, tell! What's your Jack + Jill signature drink?

Ok. This weekend, I tried it with pink lemonade. That was a mistake.
