Breaking up is hard to do....even harder with a friend than love interest. Are you sure there is nothing left to salvage from any part of the relationship? DO you just need to set your boundaries for what is acceptible or is there nothing redeeming left?

If it's unforgiveable, or completely unhealthy, then it's time to ditch that diva.

Treat the process like a love break-up, gently with honesty. What is it that is incompatible about the relationship? Why do you need the break-up? Can you talk about needing more space, more time, needing to focus on other priorities right now, not having the time, energy, or space for their drama-filled BS?

Like ripping off a band-aid. It will hurt most to just think about it, and get through that one conversation and then you will just have the awkwardness over and done with. Unless they are a stalker psycho.
